ACCESSIBILITY

La Sonrisa del Lagarto, strives to make its website accessible to all citizens, including people with physical or cognitive disabilities, and regardless of the technological devices used to access the information.

In its efforts to meet these objectives, the design of the website of La Sonrisa del Lagarto has been carried out following as far as possible the double A (AA) level of the UNE 139803 published in December 2004 by AENOR.

Law 56/2007, of 28 December, on Measures to Promote the Information Society, stipulates that public administrations shall adopt the necessary measures to ensure that the information available on their respective websites is accessible, in accordance with the content accessibility criteria established in Royal Decree 1494/2007, of 12 November (Regulation on the basic conditions for access by people with disabilities to technologies, products and services related to the information society and social media).

This Royal Decree specifies the degree of accessibility applicable to the Internet pages of public administrations, with compliance with priorities 1 and 2 of the aforementioned UNE being mandatory as a minimum level.

The portal has been developed using XHTML and style sheets complying, as far as possible, with the W3C's XHTML 1.0 and CSS2 validations.
