Between September 24 and October 19, 2023, the company, with the support of INAEM, the Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism of the Principality of Asturias and the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Education and Popular University of the City of Gijón, made its dream tour of Colombia.

The first stop was the beautiful CARTAGENA DE INDIAS, where we participated in the XXIII International Puppet Festival, a wonderful festival whose motto is "puppets are life’s magic" .... which we supported 100%. Beautiful performances, for boys and girls of different ages, pre-adolescents and family audiences.

The organization of the Festival does an impressive job in bringing the Performing Arts to children and young people and families, a whole network of Institutes and schools sometimes go to the venues of the festival and other times the festival moves to the school community, thus ensuring that a huge number of schoolchildren participate in the festival.

From there, we flew to MEDELLiN, to Manicomio de Muñecos, a theater, exhibition place, school, training center, meeting and creative place that is a dream come true, achieved by a beautiful team led by Liliana Palacios..., generation after generation have passed through this dream place learning to love puppets, theater and the culture.

Within the framework of the Puppet Festival, the First Women’s Meeting in the Puppet Planet took place there, which brought together extraordinary women from Medellin, Cali, Peru, Mexico and Spain, where we had the opportunity to participate, with the participation of MARLI SANTANA in a round table.

The third stop of the tour took us to POPAYAN, the white city Such beautiful people...Bernardo Palomino, renowned organizer of Festivals in charge of theaters in the past, decided this year to bring the festival to the educational community, extraordinary performances very much enjoyed by school children, educational staff and families.

In BOGOTA wonderful performances at the Libélula Dorada Theater within the International Manuelucho Festival 2023. At the Manuel Zapata Olivella El Tintal Public Library, (emblematic character of African roots of the liberation of Bogota) where Catalina Valencia, District Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports of Bogota, praised our work.

In addition to the performances, a shadow workshop for professionals was held on October 9: "Master Class: Chinese shadows and use of overhead projector in the play La Mona Simona La Sonrisa del Lagarto (Spain) Free Admission".

We continued to QUIMBIO, where we were received by the director Alex Carbajal to attend the presentation at the Municipal Theater where the next day we would perform with La Mona Simona. The theater was full, there was a lot of prospect and congratulations.

Finally, we closed the tour in beautiful ARMENIA, after 25 intense days, with great performances in the city of Armenia and the Teatrín Campestre Theater in Muñecos La Loca Compañía in Salento, venue of the 15th Ibero-American Theater Festival in Muñecos Quindío 2023.
