For many years, Bienvenida and Federica, two actresses with a lot of wit but little talent, have played the characters of the clock and the candelabra in the show "Beauty and the Beast" that is performed every night in the only theater in the village. They play the characters very well but they always interfere, change and spoil the protagonists’ farewell scene, making the show a disaster. The director and owner of the company, fed up with them, fires them definitively.

As they pack their bags, Bienvenida and Federica, wrapped up in their fantasy world, look back on and create the illusion of getting their roles back, while at the same time they look for a way to say farewell to the director's daughter, little Violeta, to whom they are united by a special affection and the promise of never abandoning her.
